Child Safety & User Protection
How Jobpeer protects users, enforces age restrictions, and responds to safety concerns, including child protection and abuse prevention.
Last updated: February 2026
1. Who Jobpeer Is For
Jobpeer is a professional job marketplace designed for adults.
- Minimum age requirement: 18+ only.
- By creating an account or using Jobpeer, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally allowed to enter into employment-related agreements in your jurisdiction.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, it will be suspended and removed.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy on Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation
We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual exploitation, abuse, or grooming on Jobpeer. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sexualization of minors in text, images, or video.
- Grooming or attempts to establish inappropriate relationships with minors.
- Exploitation, trafficking, or harassment of minors.
Accounts involved in such activities are immediately suspended and may be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and mandatory reporting obligations.
3. Prohibited Behavior on Jobpeer
The following behavior is not allowed on Jobpeer, regardless of age:
- Threats, bullying, stalking, or harassment.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or targeted abuse.
- Sharing or requesting sexually explicit material.
- Sharing or requesting nude or sexual images, especially involving minors.
- Impersonation, scams, fraud, or phishing.
- Sharing malware, spam, or harmful links.
Any violation of these rules can result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent account suspension, at our discretion.
4. Content Moderation & Safety Review
We use a combination of automated systems and human review to help keep Jobpeer safe:
- Automated systems may flag suspicious messages, profiles, or content that appears to violate our safety policies.
- Human moderators review flagged content and reports from users and determine actions such as content removal, feature limitations, or account suspension.
We may also limit or block features (for example, messaging, posting, or applying to jobs) for accounts we believe are violating or attempting to violate our safety standards.
5. Reporting & How to Get Help
5.1 In-app reporting
Where available, you can report a profile, job posting, or interaction directly in the app. When you report, please include:
- What happened.
- Where it happened (profile, job post, message, etc.).
- Any context that can help us understand the situation.
5.2 Email reports
If in‑app reporting is not possible or you need urgent help, you can email us directly:
- Safety concerns (including suspected CSAM, grooming, or exploitation):
safety@jobpeer.com - General support (account issues, bugs, non‑safety questions):
support@jobpeer.com
When emailing us, include your Jobpeer account email (if you have one), links or screenshots where safe and legal to share, and a clear description of the issue.
Please do not send or forward child sexual abuse material itself. Instead, describe what you have seen and where it is located in the app, and we will handle it in line with legal reporting requirements.
6. Our Response to Reports & Law-enforcement Cooperation
When you submit a report, we acknowledge it as soon as possible (typically within 24–72 hours, depending on severity and volume).
For urgent safety issues (for example, suspected child exploitation or credible threats of violence), we prioritize the report and may immediately suspend or restrict involved accounts, preserve relevant data, and contact or cooperate with law‑enforcement agencies where required.
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or ban accounts, block device or IP access in severe cases, and comply with lawful requests from authorities investigating crimes such as child sexual exploitation, trafficking, or serious harassment.
7. Compliance Statement
Jobpeer is committed to prohibiting and removing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), preventing grooming, exploitation, and abuse, and taking action on reports of harmful or illegal content.
We comply with applicable child safety standards and laws in the regions where we operate, including mandatory reporting obligations for CSAM, and we regularly review and update our safety practices as regulations and best practices evolve.
