Terms for using Jobpeer
These terms govern access to the Jobpeer platform for job seekers, recruiters, employers, and other users of our hiring products and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Jobpeer, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced within them. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
If you use Jobpeer on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, and keep your profile details up to date.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Jobpeer.
- You may not impersonate another person or organization.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws.
3. Job Seeker Responsibilities
Job seekers are responsible for the truthfulness of their resumes, profile information, portfolio links, academic records, and application materials.
- Do not upload misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful content.
- Do not apply to jobs using false identities or forged qualifications.
- Do not use the platform to spam recruiters or scrape employer information.
4. Recruiter and Employer Responsibilities
Employers and recruiters must ensure their company information, job descriptions, screening criteria, compensation details, and communication with candidates are lawful, accurate, and not misleading.
- Job postings must describe real opportunities and genuine hiring intent.
- Compensation, location, and employment type should not be intentionally misrepresented.
- Recruiters must not discriminate unlawfully in hiring workflows or platform usage.
- Company users must only access candidate data for legitimate recruiting purposes.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not misuse the platform, interfere with other users, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or stored data.
- Spam, phishing, fraud, scams, and harassment are prohibited.
- Automated scraping, unauthorized bots, and bulk extraction of user data are prohibited.
- Malware distribution, security testing without permission, and abusive traffic are prohibited.
- Illegal, infringing, hateful, or sexually exploitative material is prohibited.
6. Content, Data, and Platform Rights
You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant Jobpeer a limited license to host, process, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the platform.
We own the Jobpeer service, software, branding, designs, workflows, and related intellectual property, except for third-party materials and user-submitted content.
7. Moderation, Suspension, and Termination
We may review content, job posts, applications, security events, or account activity to protect users and platform integrity.
We may limit access, remove content, pause workflows, or terminate accounts if we believe there is abuse, fraud, policy violation, legal risk, or security harm.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Jobpeer provides a marketplace platform and does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview selection, candidate quality, recruiter responsiveness, or uninterrupted service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobpeer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from platform use, hiring decisions, or third-party conduct.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Jobpeer after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised version.
